Phonix
hey guys... I found this website: http://www.hellougg.co.uk I was looking at the Ugg Sundance that are usually £240 in the shops - do you think this site selling them for £88.42 is too good to be true? I trust your opinions guys - im soo wary of buying them - don't what to be conned to receive a fake pair! Stacey xXx

Omletina Kyckling
Genuine Uggs are made in China these days though, so the postal address might be ok?
JM
Have a look at http://www.celtic-sheepskin.co.uk/ (http://www.celtic-sheepskin.co.uk/cat_boots.asp and http://www.celtic-sheepskin.co.uk/pages/ugg.asp). I've just treated myself to some houseboots for my birthday pressy to myself - I ordered them on Thursday afternoon and they've arrived this morning (ready for me when I get home from work) - so they are very quick The best thing is that they are all made in the UK and judging from the £240 for the Ugg boots, they are a lot cheaper too. Cinnamon
I got all my Uggs direct from Ugg Australia, & even with shipping here they were heaps cheaper than buying them here. I didn't get stung for import duty either
Cinnamon
http://www.uggstore.com.au/product_info.php?cPath=53&products_id=62 Bargain alert!!!!! The service from this company is brilliant too - I would recommend them to anyone Oh, & they now do an 'offroader' Ugg, which should mean less slippage A pair seems to have fallen into my shopping cart
Paola
The Ugg label on the boots from the uggstore.com is different from the ones on Phonix's site Having looked at the official site in Oz, it matches the ones on Phoenix's site. I must add that I have a pair from uggstore.com site and unfortunately ended up paying duty. Are ours authentic do you think Cinnamon? I really fancy the cardy ones on Phoenix's site
Snowy
Hmm, Hellougg looks a bit dodgy to me! No returns cancellations or refunds!! Shipped from China, all other payment info is in US dollars, not pounds. Some poor translation of the terms and conditions. I think I'd be wary of ordering from here, but would love to be proved wrong!

Paola
Found this on Money Saving Expert forum bit Pants! Real Uggs are expensive, for a start. Don't buy from anywhere that won't show you a close-up of the logo as real ones have a larger second 'G' in UGG, whereas fakes will have letterrs all the same size. Uggs are from Australia; I would say it's better to buy direct from them (I presume they have a website?) if you're willing to pay something like £130 for them. Cinnamon
Hmmmmmmm - well, I always assumed they were So have I until I saw the 'proper' logo recently on a pair of boots and that is what got me thinking and looking into it Who knows I am not that bothered to be honest, so long as they are real sheepskin, made in Australia & made beautifully, which they are I think they are genuine - it says 100% Australian made Uggs on the site main page, unless they are using Ugg as a generic term of course..... edit & update - they are using it as a generic term - just found this on the site........ Definition from Wikipedia: "Ugg boots, or simply uggs, are a generic term for a type of sheepskin boot popular in Australia and New Zealand. (The term allegedly comes from the way the boot "hugs" the foot and leg.)" So there you go - mystery solved. I would still rather have these than ones made in China anyhow
Paola
I just feel a bit of a fool as I thought I was buying the other ones
Cinnamon
*shrugs* mine have a larger second G I have emailed them to ask them if they are genuine or not, anyhow. Someone said earlier that Uggs are made in China,I think?
Omletina Kyckling
It was me who said they were made in China - there was a huge topic on moneysavingexpert about what are real and what are fake Uggs and it came up on that - somebody contacted Ugg and they said that they are made in China. I don't think it matters whether you have the designer ones so long as you have warm, well made sheepskin boots that will last....the Ugg is only a label after all..... Guest
As has been stated Ugg is a type of boot therefore they are ALL genuine! For my money - if they look uggly then they must be uggs! If they were waterproof I'd get a pair for mucking out the chooks though as my feet would be warm, "Ooops, word censored!"ody would see me and the lack of foot support wouldn't matter as I wouldn't be walking anywhere. I'll stick to my less uggly crocs though! Or my "Miss have you got a club foot or sommat" MBT's! I think if you like the look and they are comforatable then they are "genuine" for you. jess
It is too good to be true. look on ebay counterfeit guides for uggs, there are tons of uggs on ebay all with superficial flaws that look very similar. if you dont mind paying eighty quid for fakes then go ahead. but why spend eighty quid on something that is fake?
