blackgold
The fireworks seem to have inspired our chooks as we have had 2 eggs today and we only had our very first one yesterday... My dogs are a different story. I have to ignore them but someone has to sit in the front room and watch telly all night so they all will settle. We have one 8 year old "Ooops, word censored!" who if she gets upset sets all the others off. We have 10. Tonight has been the worst night, even the 5 th wasnt this bad. But at least it is now pouring with rain so the yobs may go home soon......Also I have to go and stand in the dog yard and tell them to go potty or they wont go to the loo and that is not good for them as 4 of them are over 10 years old...... Your poor baby pooches , I do feel for animals at this time of year. My chooks seem to have been inspired too as my purebred light sussex who had shut up shop for the winter layed a 89g egg for us this morning . Just wondered blackgold how all your collies are with the girls as they have such strong natural herding instincts. My mum's friends dog used to herd the sheep skin rug into the corner of the room everytime she was left alone in the house
