abwsco
are any of these near you? http://www.fabletrading.co.uk/retailernorthwest.html Thanks Lynsey I'm going to try ringing the shop and see what happens. Barbara, do you have a link to the Australian store please. Mind you would Customs charges wipe out any savings I've just been caught with an order from the USA but luckily I still did save some money. abwsco
Yeah, the shop is still going. I'd got the wrong road - oops. Spoke to them and they were really helpful BUT how am I going to measure my daughters hand without her knowing!
Cooks
how about a top she wears, ie a tight cuff at her wrist?? you can then measure the top as it were?? tricky....
abwsco
how about a top she wears, ie a tight cuff at her wrist?? you can then measure the top as it were?? tricky.... They said to measure across the widest part of the hand, the bit between the base of the thumb and the wrist to get the correct size. abwsco
really?? I was told to measure my wrist tightly and add 2 cm That's what's on the trollbeads site as well. I wonder if the shop has found that youngsters (that makes me feel ancient!) prefer them longer. Mid you the lock will add extra length as well won't it
BarbaraJ
Thanks Barbara Sorry to ask another Q but how much was postage. Ask away 3.70 AUD so about £1.
Cooks
Yes the lock will add length depending on which one you get for her will depend on how much of course. I looked at the Big Flower Lock, the Small Flower Lock and eventually settled on the Pearl FLower Lock. I had trouble deciding but knew I liked the flower ones..... ooh I actually liked lace as well. I cant wait until they arrive in the post now.. and I still do not have my bracelet. edited to add I didn't find the autralian site that cheap to be honest, but I will keep looking through it as I know it varys. freddie
Ever seen the Pilgrim range, where its heaps cheaper and loads of different ones, cant quite work out if they're 925 siver though, but really lovely......
MedusA
Oh dear, I'm having a really bad week thanks to the temptations on this forum. Not only have I bought something else, having looked at another thread, I went and bought a Troll bracelet today. Well, then of course I had to have the chicken bead to start it off too, didn't I? I now have a list of Troll and Pandora beads (Lesley you did say Pandora fit Troll and not the other way around, didn't you?). that will last my family every Christmas and Birthday until I have shuffled off this mortal coil! Prudence would be so cross with me.

Wonder if I should just get myself one as well-lol yes get yourself one, go for it I say.. I will have another looky at that australian site later. I have no idea how much length the pearl flower lock will add to the bracelet, so I will wait until it arrives before going to buy my bracelet and then I will know for sure. I know the glass bead that my ES is getting me for my birthday ... he said could he ask me whether I would like it.. *bless him* he's getting me the Blue turquoise ribbon in aid of Breast Cancer. Turquoise is his and my birth stone so I thought that was very sweet he chose that for that reason. He had no idea I had seen that one myself he was just looking through the pages of beads I had left on the computer.

abwsco
a chicken charm is on it's way to me now as well, this is terribly addictive. LOL's, where from? I've just told hubby they had chicken charms and perhaps I should have a bracelet for Christmas. As he's as addicted to the chickens as I am I think I'll be getting one. Also, looked at the turquoise ribbon bead. That's lovely as well I'd only seen the pink one.
Cooks
I got the chicken charm on ebay.. authentic, I checked. it was listed for 7 days but I emailed and asked if she'd add a buy it now for me and she was lovely enough to so I bought it! now keep me away from the computer.. I am a danger to my bank balance! yes the blue ribbon is gorgeous and my favourite out of the two to be honest, I am not a pink type of person really.
