Oh Andrew that is so sad. Poor little girl . It's so awful to see the children suffering when they should be out playing and living. It's so dreadful for a parent to lose a child.

As you all know, I'm no believer, but some friends lost one of their twins at 3 years old. I remember little Emma - the surviving twin - telling me that Michael had gone to be an angel with baby jesus and that god always wants the most beautiful ones back. She had me in floods of tears

Oh it's so sad. My parents friend has now been diagnosed with not just lung cancer but bone cancer...it's very cruel. He wants to live out his life and not dwell on it, so that's what everyone is doing. Everyone deals with this in different ways.

 

 

If any of you smoke it's not worth it, get help to stop. I'm glad I stopped last feb!

The world is quite "Ooops, word censored!" sometimes isn't it

 

Thankfully my friend has an optimistic view of his condition and they are planning life beyond this but when he talked about the referred pain and weakness in his leg and the levels of morphine he is taking for the pain coupled with the chemo I just had such black thoughts

 

And in order to get diagnosed he had to go for a private MRI scan

 

He has been suffering with back pain for about the last four years or so and he wanted a scan to see if there was an underlying cause but the NHS said no

 

At least I can tell you guys what I think obviously I can't say to him
