Hi they are silkie/pekin crosses,very sweet and very broody!

They have made a right mess i agree! Big difference in the sizes of the birds.The little ones have told them off i think

i would never have guessed that as i have both pekin and silkie and they arnt short like a pekin and not fluffy like a silkie what coloured parent's are they and what do you think a white pekin cross white silkie look like?????

Hi aaron, i reckon that would be a fantastic cross!! I take it that you have a cockeral My bantams came from a breeder not of pure breds generally so even though she says my girls are pekin/ silkies 'are they?I can see with romany the silky in her but not the other two ;and the other two i can see they are definately pekin xs.They go broody a lot and i may buy in some fertile eggs in the spring for them

Thank you, yes the colour in the sun is great,greens ,browns blacks all shimmering in the sun.yes it was sunny today!

that would be fun to hatch some eggs and watch the mother with the little chicks, yes i have a cockerel and i hate him he pecks all my pups, my rabbit and all the little hens so if i COCK-A-DOODLE-DOOO he is gone hahahaha but i love my pekins they are my favorite i hatched my silkie from some eggs of ebay and i got 1 cockerel and 1 hen
