Had a few essays due in over the last week and to release steam out law society has arranged a big bar crawl for us on Matthew street in Liverpool...

 

The theme is 80's rave and ive been shopping for stuff today - YAK!!!

 

it was awful, managed to get everything finally but finding neon body paint ANYWHERE was an absolute nightmare!!

Out of curiosity where would any of you think to look?

Or if you've done it where did you get the paint?!?

The sad thing is that we did similar Law Society Bar Crawls when I was at uni. They too had an eighties theme - but that was because it was the eighties! Having said that - can't remember ever wearing neon body paint. Perhaps I was part of the wrong eighties

ha lol we've had soo many themes and this is just the latest!

 

I think ive been out more in fancy dress (especially this year in my last year) than I have in my normal clothes! lol

I don't remember wearing neon body paint in the eighties, either - and I was a student then, too! However I don't think we had raves then, or maybe I wasn't in the right circles.

 

My friend had an 'eighties' theme birthday party last year. We just raided charity shops for beads, belts etc, and I wore some leggings with ankle boots, a long sweater and BIG hair!

Try a ski shop, you should be able to get neon zinc sunblock sticks there.

Ha ha! the 80's I was there. I never wore neon body paint though. Big hair and mad blue eye make up. Leg warmers are a must. Have a great time.

ha! Sounds brilliant. I remember ra ra skirts, puffball skirts, leggings, legwarmers, moon boots (now re released & called snow joggers), neon socks & wrist bands, bad perms.

I would look at Snazaroos electric range of face paints. Apply with a damp sponge onto the body - and add glitter for extra 80s
