One of my Littlees (now not so little at 33 weeks old) has finally laid her first egg. It's perfect. It's 57g, and it's such a wonderful shade of blue.

 

We've been eggless since October when Scarlett (RIP) and Delilah started moulting, so it was doubly eggciting. Of course, I egg danced all round the kitchen, and then I took it round to show my lovely (and very understanding) next door neighbour, who was kind enough to enthuse over it for me.

 

Milly's already large and floppy comb seems to have grown and flopped even more today, which is a bit of a feat considering she has a fabulous crest as well. and she's running around looking very pleased with herself. (Well, that's what I like to believe).

 

I've had my Cube for a year now, and it never gets boring, does it?

congratualtions..I have a cream legbar at 27 weeks...(no eggs)...so at least I'll get an idea of time....next year LOL
