Great Craft Fair!

Recommended Posts

Well, that was a bit tiring!! but fun; And we got to meet each other(Groovychick and me) and the lovely hubby; who we think got lost and lured to the "public house" down the road!!

Conversation did turn to hens :!::!: and I still dont know if you bought the lovely beaded chicken bookmark!!

I bought some lovely honey, and sold a few skelters, had a lovely lunch, and saw a load of people I havent seen for ages, so ; good Day :D

What is rather nice is that last night at the private view, I bought two prs of lovely earrings from a very pretty, and very pleasant lady, who does lovely jewellry and glasswork ------- and I had no idea!!

Tomorrow, I'm off again, to Umberliegh, a little but very talented little village..... with some fantastic potters displaying..... and me!!

Great to meet up with you... can't get over the weird coincidence of it all!

Glad you had a good show, went well for me too & I've just about thawed out!

Mr. Groovychook did indeed get led astray- by a mysterious Frenchman! :shameonu: Naughty boy...

Good luck for tomorrow- fingers crossed that the car carries on behaving!!

... loving my egg skelter by the way!! :D

And today was even better!! Fantastic place, lovely people, great stalls; but.... I bought heaps  but not the beautiful painting I wanted so badly(it is an original, and someone else got there while I was still trying to figure how to pay for it!!)

And tonight, we went back to the village next to the craft fair as they had a craft/christmas evening, with roasted chestnuts, and toffee vodka....

pretty good day really!!

hic

Glad it went well for you Freddie! :)

It's hard to come home with all your takings when you're surrounded by stalls selling such gorgeous things! I always go with the intention of buying Christmas pressies for everyone but get sidetracked by things that I want for me! OH is sorry he didn't get to chat to yours but he arrived back, full of festive cheer when I was packing up and it was a bit late by then!

I'll have to enquire about the Umberleigh fair for next year- the nearby village with the toffee vodka has sold it to me! Don't let on to OH though! :shh::lol:
