Thick frizzy, wiry dry hair....may have found a treatment...

Recommended Posts

I have thickish long hair...and it was straight when I was about 10...but now if I leave it to dry itself in the summer.....is VERY curly...

I've dyed it several million times, and use serum and conditioner always...buy expensive and cheap products....clean it all off....straighten it , blow dry the lot....

needless to say after my recent venture into blonder hair.. (I really have dark brown hair) this time, where the hairdresser uses foils with colour remover !! my hair is co"Ooops, word censored!"...and dry, and practically impossible to comb when wet, even though I have leave in conditioner and serum..

so I used Flax Oil, last night, just put a handful or so in my hands and rubbed it all over my hair..(I slept with a towel on the pillow) and left it on all night...

and today I have much shinier....(I have shampooed it all out this morning )....and much softer hair...

I got the flax oil in Morrissons of all places..as we dont have a good health food shop locally..

and I can't recommend it enough....

I would be wary of putting too much on if you've lovely normal hair, but I'm sure it will be fine once washed off again...

Hope this helps anyone with dry frizzy hair....(I still put a tiny bit of serum on , and straightened it today)..it cant work miracles after all LOL.....

tried no shampoo...but thanks for the mention...its no good if you use product....and I do...serum...(and the frizz ease one!1).

you do need to wash this gunk off..as it cant self clean itself...

I still have lovely soft shiny hair today....which is great so, I'll defintely use flax oil as an over night conditioner...once a week I think...

;-D
