Hi l am looking for a battery hens to rescue. l live in kent, rochester. l have emailed the cordinator but wondered if any body knew of a rescue comming up in my area.

I presume you've seen the Battery Hen Welfare Trust website?

 

I put my name down for some ex-batts back in the summer and haven't heard anything back. I think the rescues are all run by volunteers so some are probably handled better than others. Good luck getting them!
