Solitary chicken - need advice

I have registered with PayPal and have been buying more off of Ebay recently however all of the sellers I have dealt with are surprised that my PayPal payments come to them as an echeque which takes a few days to clear.

 

I have the money in my account to cover the costs and don't understand why my account doesn't just get debited as if I had used a card to pay

 

I have looked around Ebay for some help but I don't get offered any other PayPal alternative than an echeque

 

Its annoying as things I am buying won't now reach me before Christmas

 

I don't have much experience with Ebay - am I missing something?

You need to go onto the Paypal site, get their help line number & give them a ring.

I suspect it could be either because you er card has not been verified with them, or it has expired & needs to be updated on the system.

 

Even if your payment normally goes straight out of you account,you HAVE to have a current debit card registered, so if yours has recently expired,you will need to update it via your account page

Good luck. I have had to call paypal tonight and it's not easy getting through even when you finally get to speak to an advisor!

this happened to both me and my dad recently and is was because the credit/dabit card details had deleted theirselves on their system, so check that, because as soon as I re-entered them all in the purchases went through normally.

Oooh ... I will try that. The payment for the rablu that I won won't go through even though it is going out of my current account and there is definitely enough money in to cover it.
