I'm going to add another one! The first time I ever heard the song was on a radio programme about cover versions and I loved the version Katherine williams does (live) on one of her albums. Also love the Rufus Wainwright version, but then I love everything he does.

 

I'm very glad tha everyone has different taste. I've not heard the x factor one as I don't listen to mainstream radio or watch telly. I think it's a great shame that the x factor winner always automatically makes it to the Christmas number 1 now though. Finding out who was the Christmas number one used to be such fun. :( Anyway I'm going to try and get to sleep again.
