Proud new chicken mum here!

 

My two lovely adopted girls arrived yesterday and today have each produced an egg. They are very clever - and their eggs weighed in the same at 62g each!

 

It is now snowing - my boys, as you can imagine, are not quite sure what to be more excited about!

How lovely. I can remember the eggcitement of the first eggs. How are you going to cook them. As you've got 2 maybe poached and one for each of your boys! Fresh eggs are wonderful poached, my favourite.
