thechickenkeeper
Hi there, not gloating here as i know all too well what winter is like in the uk, but some of you asked what the temperatures have been, so here goes, At the moment 10:40am 22oC in the shade, yesterday when the thermomiter was in direct sun with no breeze it in, it registered 41oC, but that is without windchill blah blah blah, the average this past week has ben between 25oC - 30o C ambiant temp, burn time is about 10 mins due to the high UV in New Zealand, skin cancer is a major issue here, so not all fun in the sun, infact government ads tell you ot to go out in the sun, cover up at all times, i hope this hasn't made anyone feel worst for the winter blues, the way i keep my chin up is to think, if winters here then it means summer is on it way not going away, as mine is, day by day the days are getting a little shorter now. wrap up keep warm, cuddle your loved ones more, save on the power. Chickvic
I think I'm too fussy - anything over 22oC and I'm too hot! Would be nice to be a little warmer though.
BeckyBoo
It's minus 3.5 here at the minute so it's going to be pretty darned cold tonight. I could cope with 10 minutes in 25 degrees, got any room at yours? Mrs B
Guest
I think I'm too fussy - anything over 22oC and I'm too hot! That's me! I went out this morning and was sitting on train stations with -3 degrees temperatures. I regretted not putting socks on today, my toes were painfully cold and haven't really warmed up. However, I much, much prefer the winter!

Ardene5
Hi Can you bottle so warm weather and sent it back to the UK. We can then have a big change in weather condition to what we have now! So everyone on the weather thread would be talking about is floods after the big freeze but with temps like that it might the flood might evaporate!!! Have fun Best regards for 2009. Mutrix Farmers
At least the snow has melted here now (we didn't have much but it was very cold!) The wind is howling through the office window so I'll make a cup of hot chocolate, shut my eyes and picture New Zealand!
