nat2673 Posted August 20, 2006 Share Posted August 20, 2006 I have 5 ducks 1 is a mandrain and 2 are teal and the other 2 are mixed breeds. My mandrain duck is being really nasty to one of the teal ducks. He is fine with the others. I am getting worried that he might hurt the other duck. Even thinking about getting rid of the mandarin. Maybe he's trying to establish himself as top duck: It can be very nasty, but best left to it unless he is actually hurting the other. Do tell us what he's doiing exactly. Unless the fighting stops pretty quickly, which would indicate that the Mandarin has established dominance and the others are happy with it, getting rid of that one (or the disliked Teal) might be your best option. The teal gets on with all the other ducks and the madrarin gets on with all of the other ducks apart form the teal.
