Laura & CTB
My Mum has two rabbits - can she use shredded paper from magazines, bills etc for their bedding? They have a habit of chewing everything - would it be safe?
Martin B
Well most people line the hutch with newspaper and then put sawdust on top. Most rabbits eat the paper, I've never had a problem!
Lera
Shredded paper is fine for bedding. But its important for rabbits to have some hay for eating as well.
The Dogmother
I used to put newspaper under the woodchip in the bottom of their wooden hutch, but the buns used to eat it. The vet warned me that it can cause some sort of compaction in their tummies, so I stopped using it.
