shelley8179
Do you have to be in to take delivery of your Eglu or is leaving a note to tell the delivery driver were to leave it ok? as my husband has to take the dog to the vets and im sure that is the time the Eglu will turn up
Redwing
It depends what the carriers policy is, some insist on a signature. If you do leave a note bear in mind that they will probably do as you ask and leave it but: 1) you cannot check if the parcels are damaged 2) Some opportunist might have the parcels away if they aren't hidden 3) some carriers will be reluctant to enter a gate at the side or back of the house 4) Some carriers will leave big packages at the kerbside or door only 5) by leaving a note you are advertising that you are not in 6) by leaving a note you take full responsibility of what happens to the parcel when they leave - they will note that you asked them to leave it and were not in. I would probably take the risk if it was me but things could go wrong. Maybe ask a neighbour if they would be so kind as to mind the house for a short while and take delivery? If you know who the carrier is you could try the local depot to see where your drop of is in the workload - be nice and don't demand they move the time and they are normally pretty willing to tell you if you are delivery slot 1 or delivery slot 20 which gives you a rough indicator of when they may be with you if you ask how many deliveries they have in total. Good luck

Cooks
from your location aren't you having omlet themselves deliver it? I would have thought so!
Christian
I would think that Omlet would be delivering as you are in Oxfordshire so relatively close to them, but best to give them a call to check. 0845 450 2056
