Also of the white/cream one you can get it in two sizes..

I have one of each white/cream bins the larger for feed and the small for odd bits and bobs..

Oh and i have a bungee through the handles so no one apart from me can get in!

Very good! And soo glad i saw them on my way round!

Thank you SLK69 and AbigailGrace, I went to IKEA today and got 2 of the big cream bins for pellets and corn and a little bright green one for bits and bobs :D . The omlet effect strikes again  .

My chicken food is all in the corner of my kitchen at the moment as I am saving up to buy a shed 7 a couple of metal bins to put the food in. There is so much stuff to store once you get into it-Layers pellets, Mixed corn, Pidgeon conditioner, Grit, Cod liver oil, Straw, sawdust & more....

Roz you forgot to say at the bottom of your signature, 2 children, a husband and a border collie.... lol sue xx

Also we have the pets at home containers for dog food and old swing bins for chicken food. Square containers are easy to put next to each other and so take up less room in the sheds

Stoice I like the look of your stackable cointainers - how much feed does one container hold?

Each container holds a complete sack (To the very brim though!)

I can't get the link to work for Stoice's containers

Olly - it seems Argos have just updated their on-line catalogue as I can't see them any more (They have brought these in instead although they look a different shape so I don't know if they'd hold a whole sack of food or not).

But a quick search and I notice that Homebase sell them individually like this

sorry if this is in the wrong forum! I was wondering what you all use to store your chickens layers mash and mixed corn? I was out with my hubby today trying to find something, but couldn't find anything suitable.

Thank you :)

Hi

I used to make my own wine and the plastic dustbin with lid (+ brick on the top) is what I use for my feed which I keep under the bench of my unheated greenhouse. Had Chickens since September and no problems to date. I also clear up any spilt feed.
