It's gruesome but compulsive. I find Michael C Hall's looks intriguing, sometimes he's very attractive and at other times almost ugly - don't know what it is. First episode went over Deb's recovery from her serial-killer fiance and return to work; Dexter's girlfriend knowing more than she's comfortable with; and an unexpected and unwanted undersea discovery! It is such a strange subject, but I think the attraction is that he is basically bumping off the baddies, so we all root for him. I rather like Angel. Just read a Dexter book too which was really good and showed the series had followed it fairly faithfully. Anyone else watched Breaking Bad? That was really good too .
