:P Yes ... that was on the front page of Omlets website. (you know where I mean ... the homepage) .

I know they have ads for the Eglu, at the back of sainsburys magazine, and a few others, but they seem to do alot of write ups for the telegraph newspaper.

:D A friend gave me a copy of "Grow your own" .. Augusts edition, and it has a pic of a hen in a "suit" .. mentioned somewhere else I think. Also, has loads on hens as a feature at the back, inc breed your own 8) , and a section on grape growing .....:lol:

Yes, they do, Gina, it's a good magazine and the chicken section is very interesting. A certain Johannes Paul is the chicken agony aunt (or rather uncle) in the letters section - name rings a bell for some reason  .

Another good gardening magazine with an excellent chicken section is Kitchen Garden.

Jane Howarth lives not far from me - a friend of mine is going to rescue 12 hens from her - I felt a bit bad about not doing that myself but Mr really wasn't keen on the idea and I really wanted the legbars. I think if I get some extra land and do the flock thing I'll do it though.
