SarahJo
Yes ... that was on the front page of Omlets website. (you know where I mean ... the homepage) . I know they have ads for the Eglu, at the back of sainsburys magazine, and a few others, but they seem to do alot of write ups for the telegraph newspaper. SarahJo
A friend gave me a copy of "Grow your own" .. Augusts edition, and it has a pic of a hen in a "suit" .. mentioned somewhere else I think. Also, has loads on hens as a feature at the back, inc breed your own , and a section on grape growing ..... Popcorn
Will have to keep an eye open for that sarah, haven't come across it before. I presume the likes of WHSmiths will stock it?
Mrs Frugal
Yes, they do, Gina, it's a good magazine and the chicken section is very interesting. A certain Johannes Paul is the chicken agony aunt (or rather uncle) in the letters section - name rings a bell for some reason . Another good gardening magazine with an excellent chicken section is Kitchen Garden.

SarahJo
TODAY .. Sat, in the weekend section of the telegraph, there is a write up on "Battery hen adoption" and shows Jane Howarth ... is that who Buffster went with. . Anyway ... thought I would let you know .. so if anyone wants to adopt a hen.
red
Jane Howarth lives not far from me - a friend of mine is going to rescue 12 hens from her - I felt a bit bad about not doing that myself but Mr really wasn't keen on the idea and I really wanted the legbars. I think if I get some extra land and do the flock thing I'll do it though.
SarahJo
The photo of her holding "Limpet" is cool .... the hen is just snuggled in like a baby over her shoulder . They also did a slot underneath on Mayonaise, and the best "free range" ones to buy ... a mention of the Eglu also .....
