My OH is Scottish and he has invited his family for haggis, neeps and tatties on Sunday - there will be 13 of us I don't have enough chairs for everyone... but I do have tartan tablecloths

 

I've also bought a copy of The Broons' Burns Night to help with the organisation.

 

All I need to do now is download some traditional music so we can "pipe" in the haggis and peel a mountain of spuds...

 

I'm really looking forward to it.

We are also having haggis, neeps and tatties tonight and the last of the xmas pudding with ice cream and cream! - lovely stuff - comforting food.

Haggis in the fridge. Chinese in our stomachs. It's sort of Chinese new year and all the Chinesey celebrations took place this weekend near me. They were good. Och. I'm speaking in a wee brogue to appease ma wee bit o' Scotch blood.
