Falkor
Hi I have just got back from Homebase in Great Yarmouth and they are selling 75litres of compost for £1.98 reduced from 3.98. They also have bark and woodchips reduced to £1.98, I think full price they were nearly a fiver. They also had lots of other gardeny bits reduced. I got some wellie mules (sim to crocs) in pink reduced from £13.00 to £2.48! I am not sure if this is ALL homebases or just yarmouth but I thought I would let you all know incase anyone is put and about tomorrow and wants to stock up for run cleans or mulching! I didn`t buy any (car too full, got layers pellets and Aubiose in it) but when I get back to St Neots I will be popping to local Homebase to stock up so I can complete the raised beds, paths and stash for the run! I went to Homebase yesterday & got 3 "instant" plastic shed floors for £9.99 each (down from nearly £50 I think ), to put the new walking run on, so they are really easy to clean & light to move should I decide to. And a single wardrobe with a canvas cover for £14.99 to hang our coats in by the back door and hide some of the boots & clobber in. Thanks for the nod towards bargains ! Nicola O
Zinc planters are £9.99 in my homebase so I'll have to keep and eye on them and see if they go down. Did get 70ltr bags of woodchips for £1.48 each though (should have been 3 for a tenner) I got 6 for a grand total of £8.88 - and I think I'll go back for another lot today. Clur
Fab, thanks for the heads-up. I'll go and take a look on Friday/Sat as we desperately need some wood chip for the run and I'd been Googling wood chip suppliers!
