sugarspice
im going for the corrugated stuff. question is where to get it for a decent price
Guest
we have the corrugated stuff, we have the slightly blue tinged one as it was cheaper. Think DH got it from B&Q. If you know a pensioner, take them with you as they can get a discount on a certain day I think, check with your local store
bronze
I love the idea of hijacking a pensioner to get your discount. ***in the news tonight.... a mysterious spate of pensioner kidnappings has been taking place. In each case the victim has been taken to the diy chain b&q and forced to present their identification. The victim is then dumped where they were taken from unharmed. Please call....***
Ain't Nobody Here
They should set a pensioner stall up outside B&Q (or just inside if it's chilly ) so customers can borrow one like you do a trolley . They would obviously need nice cups of tea and some biccies and perhaps a rug for their knees .) Back to the real world, I got mine from B&Q and it was only about £6 a sheet. Barkisland
I believe pensioner discount is on a Wednesday at B&Q, and it's worth having. (Let me know if you want to borrow my mum )
BarbaraJ
We got clear ones from Wickes. About £8 a sheet but they were the 3m long ones as run is big.
Guest
I always drag my mum along, she loves it because she's (a very young looking) 76 and they always say "really!!!??? you don't look it!" when she tells them how old she is this is her on new years eve this year (well, last year!) with our little niece
