My old choirmaster used to say that so long as you mouth 'rhubarb rhubarb' when you forget the words, "Ooops, word censored!"ody can tell any different.

 

That's not what I tell my choir!! If people can't hear what you're singing about, then there's not much point singing! I run yearly projects/focuses. This year we are concentrating on diction, especially the ends of words and middle consonants like the T in Christmas. Last year we worked on pulse, keeping the music steady and the year before we concentrated on good breathing.

 

Ah but you sound like a proper choirmistress. My choirmaster was at school, and he looked like one of Roald Dahl's Twits and had a plimsoll with 'hello' written on it back to front in chalk. He'd whack the boys with it on the bottom if they were naughty. I think you're in a different, proper league!
