4m x 3m Omlet pen, cube, new auto door still boxed and coop light

Hi,

 

Just need some advice. I've just bought a 'rablu' (eglu for rabbits) off eBay which i plan to convert to an eglu with the omlet conversion kit. After picking it up there seems to be a part missing from the run. I have the 4 side sections and the end with the free range door, but don't seem to have the fox proof skirt for the end.

 

I just need to know how this part usually comes. how does it attach and does it normally come with the rablu. Not Sure if i've left it behind or he just didn't have it. If it's lost forever does anyone know where i can get a replacement?

didn't notice till you said as my run is not in use. the rablu end indeed seems not to have a skirt. (mine was 2nd hand too though!)

I know. At first i thought maybe the Rablu just doen't have one, but then surely mr fox goes after rabbits aswell? But after looking at the eglu for rabbits info on omlets website they show the rabbit run in pictures also with a skirt. I do hope I manage to get one!! Can anyone think of any alternatives i could use if I can't?

Yes it should have one it is basically just the width of a skirt (20cm) and comes in two half lengths (i.e. 2 * 78cm approx) and it fits with run clips.

 

Omlet would always sell you one if you phone them.

Or you could shoot to wicks & get a pice of weld mesh to put there. You could put it right under, so skirt inside & out!

Better be safest soonest till you decide.

I bought skirts from a company found on internet made to measure for our fisrst run extention.

Tracy's right - mine has one too, in two sections just as she describes. perhaps you could contact the seller and ask whether they still have it - perhaps it's buried in their shed or somewhere and they didn't see it when they sold the rablu to you.
