Hello all,

 

I am just collating everything I need for my cube when it arrives to ensure the happiness and safety of the three chickens.

 

I wondered if some of you could help me in adviing how many pegs you have round the skirt of your cube run as thats my next thing to buy.

 

My biggest fear is Mr Fox so want to make sure I have the skirt secure to the ground.

I bought the omlet pegs for the eglu. They came in a pack of ten and I didn't use them all around the eglu. Don't know if that's much help really

Plum's right - here's my answer!

 

I don't peg down the cube or eglu run but I do peg down the omlet netting because the girls are limbo dancers.

 

I bought the pegs from Omlet: they're called Wurmi and they screw into the ground with a little hook on each peg to catch the edge of the netting - or run - before being firmly fixed. We bought one pack with 10 pegs and it's enough for our needs. They are VERY secure because they screw in quite deeply.

 

They are absolutely fantastic and once again Omlet are selling them cheaper than anywhere else I've found either online or in camping shops!

Thanks I have added the tent pegs from Omlet on to my order.

 

Had a lovely visit to a cube owner yesterday (thank you K&N) and saw it all in action - brilliant!
