We're relieved that it's fixed because otherwise we'd be getting frantic phonecalls from her... I've no idea what the problem was but he fixed it and she's happy. I didn't realise boilers had earth straps - something more to go wrong While we're having all the building work done we're thinking of having a new boiler installed as well.
