Hi guys,

Ive never been in the 'Eglus and cubes' section before! :D I was wondering whether somebody could tell me the measurements of the roosting bars. I've made a wooden removable arrangement that kind of copys the omlet roosting bars. However, they aren't as easy to clean as I imagine the plastic roosting bars are and I'm wlanting to buy some, but I dont know whether to get the roosting bars for the cube or eglu? Thanks in advance for your help. :D

Umm ... not quite sure I understand your question! Have you got a Cube or an Eglu? They do bars to fit either one.

The plastic ones are much, much easier to clean than wooden ones, and dry much more quickly too.

Let us know which one you want the measurements of - Cube or Eglu - and I'm sure someone will be able to help. I don't think I can offer to measure my Cube bars at the moment as it's rather chilly out there and yesterday the girls refused to come out when I went up the garden!

Think HENthusiastic has a wooden coop. :D

Ah, that's what I wondered - I still couldn't work out whether it was Cube or Eglu measurements that were required! Luckily ANH has come to the rescue. I don't think one of mine came out of the Cube all day yesterday - they were NOT impressed with snow.

Hiya.

Thanks for your help. Sorry if I wasnt being clear enough. I DO have a wooden house, but I want to get some omlet plastic bars to put in my wooden house. I wasn't sure whether to buy the cube ones or the eglu ones. Thanks so much ANH for going to the trouble of finding that information for me :D

My girls aren't impressed with the snow either  I was out there this morning with the rake trying to pull get them a nice patch of earth before they would even consider coming out of their house  My neighbour said she hardly saw them at all yesterday (she loves them and has a good view from her kitchen).
