Didn't realise that there had been a US version of Life on Mars with Harvey Keitel as Gene Hunt, has anyone seen it? Is it any good?

 

I watched it being a fan of the original and thought the US version was pretty damn good considering its a remake.Unfortunately the Americans themselves didnt warm to it and was canned after one series.

 

The American episodes are almost the same as the British ones albeit they have obvious US tones,but essentially the scripts are identical.I got well into it,but then it stopped.Harvey Keitel played a great Gene Hunt!
