tom123
EDITED TO SAY: Have a look at my new post ' My New Cockerel of Fate' for pics!!!! Well, sort of! As you all know I got 2 new hens last weekend, Dot and Maisie, however Dot has had a bad limp since we got her. The lady we got her from told us to give it a week as it might be a sprain, well 1 week later still limping. She has told us to bring her back on Saturday and either swap her or just get a refund. This leaves a space for one more Any way, Ill get to the point! Today me and my mum were at my nans and I happened to start chatting to her neighbour about chickens, like you do , and he happens to breed pekins however has just been given a lovely little gold partridge pekin cockerel but has no room for him. He said I could have him! Me and my mum had a long chat about it, discussing the noise and other problems but we only have 1 lovely neighbour who used to have chickens, including a cockerel, and have sorted out what we will do in the mornings so she said YES!!!!! We are picking him up at the weekend! He is going to be called Floyd and will live with the bantams but maybe with the big girls, haven't decided yet, advice please! Will post LOADS of pics as soon as I get him. You have no idea how excited I am!!! Tom P.S. He looks quite a lot like this... tom123
Thanks Guys! Milly & Molly are going to my nans because she would love chickens and not too many eggs so I suggested Milly & Molly as they are so tame as well. havnt been on here for ages but how have you got so many chickens now I know Aaron Milly & Molly, then my early birthday presents, Lucy & Poppy, then my accidental girls, Babs & Ginger (Rehomed) , then my surprise birthday bantams form my friend, then Maisie and Dot, then Floyd the cockerel! Will post lots of pictures Tom
