I've got one from Tchibo - a silly Christmas present from Mum last year.

 

It's used at least once a week and is really fun - we cook breakfast pancakes on the breakfast table with the kids. They love it.

Oh yes, I've just been looking at that email as well And it reminded me - when is pancake day? Is it tomorrow or next week?

Giving up stuff for lent?

 

It was years before I found out that sundays are excluded.

My mother mentioned it in passing on one occasion and in sheer disbelief I targeted my priest.

He agreed that indeed Sunday was already the Lord's day and you could give up giving up as long as you came to church

Yay makes it much easier to give up.

Thats quite a good idea, and it would mean no longer standing for ages at the cooker, alone whilst everyone else is at the table

He already has a small crepe maker that makes six mini ones at one time.
