Mel (& Paul)
Have you noticed that when you buy the ready sliced malt loaf that the slices are far too small.............I could eat the whole loaf too Mel..... we can sit together at the next do and stuff malt loaf quietly
Mel (& Paul)
I hate Christmas pudding (and cake - and mince pies - and... I can add to this list! Eccles Cakes (Dead fly pie as its know!) And ' Squashed Fly Biscuits' (Garibaldi!) We had Garibaldi biscuits whilst on holiday this year. Now my children are desperately looking for a bald guy called Gary, so they can laugh and call him Gary-Baldy. Does anyone know one? I would imagine that Buffie or ClareT would be your best bet - they have a thing about baldy men (in case you hadnt noticed )

Paola
oooh - just need to pop out (better not I'm desperately trying to lose weight and three slabs of malt loaf may not help ) No malt loaf is fine as long as you put nothing on it ie lashings and lashings of butter. I am doing slimming world and still eat it, plain of course

theherd123
I also pick all the fruit out of a Hot Cross Bun, leaving the peel because I like it and then squash it all back together and try to toast it Guilty as charged! I do this too!

Mel (& Paul)
sounds perfectly healthy to me - christmas pudding has fruit in - so counts towards your five a day. Butter is just churned milk - counts towards your calcium intake ' although Bunnee in light of your earlier post would have thought that you might have been after some pilchard ice cream
