I've been checking the nest box of the cube every morning since the girls arrived, more in hope than expectation, and this morning I was greeted with ....... And here it is again, in a more suitable setting. Before you ask 52g ! Anyway, a little later I had a text message at work, from Moira. She had heard strange noises from the cube and gone out to investigate and found that Ernestina had gone into the nest box, and sure enough there was another egg! 51g this one. A few hours later another text message, Harriet had laid. This time 48g. We suspect she was responsible for the overnight egg. Lydia has been taking a great interest in the proceedings, so hopefully this might spur her on to higher endeavours of the egg laying kind.
