miffy
We are finally about to embark on sorting out our "interesting" bathroom and shower "room". We have asked the chap who put the heating in to give us some ideas and come up with a quote. He had some good ideas, one of which was to use a digital shower in what will then be the en suite. We had never heard of them but googling it they sound ideal for our situation. has anyone got one , how have you found it? any problems? thanks for your help. hillfamily
Wow......with digital wireless technology to run your shower at the perfect temp and you could switch it on by remote control from your bed in the mornings
ubereglu
That just sounds like it's for ultra lazy people! Mind you, it would be handy for me, as when I'm in the shower I have to take off my glasses and then can't see properly.
Shirl
We've got this one. http://www.plumbworld.co.uk/aqualisa-quartz-digital-1699-686 It works really well. We don't have the remote control for it though, I'm not sure it could come with the remote control when we bought it as we've has it about 6 years. It did break down after about 3 years but it comes with a 5 year guarantee and so they came and fixed it promptly. We also bought an Aqualisa shower cubicle and the door broke on that (DD forcing it forward rather than sliding it round) and they sent rplacement parts at no cost. miffy
Shirl thats the one we have been looking at!!! we dont want the remote though. good to hear no problems and that customer service is good. We fancy a Kudos walk in shower to go with it , looks expensive though . We will also need an electric shower to go over the bath in the main bathroom, I wonder what are good value, reliable ones ?? miffy
just thought!!! the remote would be handy if it worked from the garden... spray Ukadex switch on shower remotly whilst running down garden, strip off whilst running up stairs straight into nice hot shower sounds perfect

We did the same. We thought that if we ran out of hot water then we could always use the electric shower. However the other one is so powerful that even though we have a 10KW electric shower it seems really piddly in comparison. In hindsight I'd go for 2 Aqualisa. miffy
just looking and noticed that Aqualisa do an electric shower!! its somewhat cheaper than the digital ones. I guess it would be of similar quality of the digital one might look into that a bit further. The cheaper ones in B&Q are quite tempting, but I have no idea how good or reliable they might be.
