Unbelievably we have just had our first egg and chickens have not even been here 24hrs yet. However, not sure if it counts because the Nera we purchased yesterday we knew was older than the other 4 and had already started laying. Even so, it was lovely to find that egg in the nest and I know it was from her because at the moment she is the only one who is going up and down the ladder
