Falkor
Mazzyc - pic of chook sporting a bumper bit here: viewtopic.php?t=22584 Westleigh - sounds like they have stuff to kep the occupied too. Could you extend there run? Cookie also mentioned to me the otherday that she has added evergreen branches to the corners of her run so her new girls have somewhere to run and shelter the others are feeling a little fiesty. I have a confer that needs cutting back but I am going to wait until I have to do the intros.
fluffyknickers
Gosh, I wouldnt like to have to fit one of those on my own either. x
Cooks
yes Claret gave me the idea of evergreen braches in the corners, which is great, I put them in three corners and the newbies can go and hide. Although I need to get new branches tomorrow so I will go and speak to some neighbours with bigger gardens than me that might have some bushes I can cut down, I mean prune. westleigh
i tell you these girls are crafty, millie pretends to groom her victim first then goes in like a mad thing the other lady just follows my cockerel jeff nugget pulling at what she can,it breaks my heart to see it and i wonder how much more he can take,it may well be tomorrow that my friend comes over to collect them,i had such a bad night last night with the idea of getting rid of them but i have to do whats best for all the other kids(chooks) that i have
Luvachicken
I must admit I didn't know what a bumpa bit was either, but I do now Iwas also wondering what to give them to play with as one in particular, Evie , really seems to pace up and down waiting for the door of the run to be open. You've all been really helpful
Falkor
You should do what you feel happiest with. It sounds like things are bad and maybe rehoming the attackers is the best option in the long run. You could try bumpa bits but may end up rehoming them anyways. I really feel for you. I am preparing for intros and am worried sick that it won`t work.
