milliemoo
Hi I'm unfortunately having to lose my beautiful maggie. She has started clucking just a little too loudly and the neighbours are being very kind about it at the moment but i don't know how long they'll hold out. What has happened is that I've allowed her to free range from first thing in the morning and now she's clucking to be let out - and then she 'generally' stops - but it is now starting to be as early as 5.30! Her friend lowie who was incescent with her crowing has found a great home around the corner with a likeminded free ranging family and has quietened down in one week. I'm hoping the same will be true of maggie when she finds her place int eh new pecking order set up. If you are looking for a beautiful gingernut ranger, laying every day, who is one year old and extremely tame/family pet please do get in touch as I would love her to go to a lovely omet home. Thanks Jo

mostin
Actually it was my darling OH who pointed this thread out to me, as he is desperate for a ginger chicken to replace his Prissy who we lost in Dec . It turns out she's already been rehomed though, so Shaun will just have to wait for the ex-batts to arrive . He puts on a good show of not caring about the girls, and only being interested in building things for them, but methinks he has fallen for them .
