half dozen Posted April 3, 2009 Share Posted April 3, 2009 My beautiful white cochin,Whisper , has just gone broody this week! hubby has let me get some fertile eggs which we are going to put under her tonight She has gone quite nasty towards the others when she does get up for food and water Is this normal with a broody hen?? Is she just protecting her eggs. We have bought her a chicken ark to put her in then she has her own little en-suite accomadaton!!! Just put her in the ark now lifted her off the other eggs and straight on to the hopefully fertile ones , and she did not even bother count down on now Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
