JoMonkey Posted April 5, 2009 Share Posted April 5, 2009 Hello, We're starting to think about moving house, and after we sell ours we may have to rent for a few months before finding another one to buy. I'm not sure if we'll be able to have the chickens with a short term rent property and we may struggle to find a place with a suitable garden. Has anyone else been through this? Guest Posted April 5, 2009 Share Posted April 5, 2009 Dont know where u live but if its herts depending on what it is and as long as u can get it here and pop in from time to time and supply the feed etc I could probably have them for you..I am a new pending owner but have kept ducks etc and have other animals..but if u can find a likeminded person or perhaps a good friend with the promise of free eggs etc I am sure someone will have them for u...most folks would be happy to temporarily have them I am sure?? Not sure if its a cube or eglu u have but I would think moving those would be easier. I am hoping that a friend would take them for a few months, but quite a lot of them don't have gardens etc. It's tricky! We have plenty of room for another eglu if you are stuck for someone to look after them for a time. just let me know if you need help.
