Lindy Loo Posted April 11, 2009 Share Posted April 11, 2009 Being the victim of advertising that I am, I bought a copy of the book 4 Ingredients after hearing the authors being interviewed on the Chris Evan's show on Radio 2. Yesterday I tried the fruit cake recipe and was really disappointed with the way it turned out. The cake is heavy and quite stodgy and I wonder if it has anything to do with the length of time I soaked the fruit for (a bit longer than was suggested), whether I added too much liquid, perhaps I didn't cook it for long enough or MAYBE perhaps it is just one of those recipes that just doesn't do it for me!
