How Quickly Does Albendazole Work?

Well I can't believe it is only a year since we first got chickens - it seems like we've always had them!

 

We have gone from 3, then to 5 and then with the addition of the ex batts, to 8.

 

Yesterday, whilst everyone was freeranging, as they seemed reasonably calm with each other we decided to see what would happen if they all went in together - there was some argy bargy, but nothing too traumatic. Ex batts needed picking up and putting in through egg port, but everything seems ok this morning (after getting up at stupid o'clock! ).

 

The run isn't really big enough for them all, but we couldn't miss out on the opportunity, so unless anybody has an extension they would like to sell in the North West, then I will be onto Omlet tomorrow.

 

It's been a good year!

Just an idea would you have the space for a walk in run it would work out about the same if you could do most of the work your self.I find the ex bats ive had seem a lot more gentle then my other hens.Do you feel the same ? It is nice to see the ex bats with all the hens , just wish they would agree.

Poached I am still in limbo re my walk in run from the neighbours otherwise would happily sell you and extension or 2...but it sounds like fantastic progress!

Don't worry - as it has happened quicker than planned, we need it ASAP, so will get one from Omlet.

We did consider a walk in run - however the size of our garden puts me off as it could be too overbearing, so will see how they get on with more run space.

 

I haven't found that our ex batts are more gentle at all, especially now we have merged them - they are little devils!
