Margalot
Is there a special ACV for chickens? My local small holding shop had some but it said it was for horses? Where do I get it from? will the supermarket stuff be ok? Thanks
madchickenlady
The horse stuff is the one you're after. The supermarket one is apparently too refined to be of much use. Mine love ACV
Margalot
Oh good I'll pick some up on the way home, how much do you need to add?
madchickenlady
I add a capful to a full drinker (don't have a glug, so not sure about that!) I only add it once a week, but a lot of people use it daily. Seems to just give them a boost, especially if they're a bit off their food My last bottle lasted me 9 months! Ain't Nobody Here
We add it daily - a squirt out of an old sports drink bottle into a glug. Half of it ends up in the flowerbeds as we empty the glug daily , but it's cheap and lasts for ages so I don't mind!
