GoonerChicks Posted September 30, 2006 Share Posted September 30, 2006 Would you believe it sister Isabella laid her first egg today and as if they weren't ga ga enough about her now you would think they had found gold -skipping round the garden like a pair of loons they were! I am always first at everything (except going to bed), and now she has gone and beat me at this and to cap it all Isabella seems to have gone all bossy on me, pinching my grapes out of my beak where as before she was the shy, never coming forward type and I muscled in on anything going - first up to to the plate thats me. Anyway we celebrated her laying with a spring clean of the bungalow , new flooring of Hemcore and an al fresco lunch of grapes, sweetcorn and tomatoes - yummy so I guess I don't mind if Isabella does do all the work if we get a party like that every time. Anyway, I hope all you other chicks and furry things are well and happy - we had our first outing in the big garden last weekend, but they could not get me back in my bit and the longer it went on the more nervous they got so we have not been out again yet - do you think they should give us another go today - food does not tempt me back - I am a rebel you see and I have a hell of a peck on me - he, he, hah, hah catch me if you can!
