Tree branches screwed to the run frame

We have some small branches that OH got from work when they were clearing some land dotted in the flower beds. They prefer sitting on the garden bench, though

Ikea shoe racks . And normal branches too! Oh, and an old garden bench .

I have a selection of tree branches and an old dining chair in each of my runs - plus the new run has an old wooden coffee table in it, just the right height for sitting on or hiding under.

Ours used to have a huge twisty branch off a tree we cut down, but only the bantams used to use it and it just ended up getting muddy and in the way, so now they have a childrens stool

Well the chair in the first run was put there for me , in my naivety I thought I'd sit on it while I got to know them. It soon got covered in poo, so I stopped sitting on it, but the chooks love it, so the new run also has a chair- came in very handy today , I could sit in comfort and dust them all with mite powder.

The coffee table was covering the kindling pile and I looked at it and thought - ' well they have the chair, may as well have the table to go with it ', and it did make a good hiding place - trying to hoik them out from under it for the mite powder was not fun
