Raina
The girls arrived yesterday, I did ask my mum to ring up and try to get another hen...like a few of you asked me to do on here but she said she rang up a couple of weeks ago to reserve them They are not the same age, the bloke said they are a couple of weeks apart...and that he hand raised/bred them himself anyway here's some pics of them http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=2023678&id=1152268122&l=93f82ee142 thanks for looking
Margalot
They are lovely What do your Broder Terriers think?
Mazzarina
They're fab - great pics, and great names (I like the idea of a Bob Dylan-inspired chicken). I'm guessing Lady Lay is the older one - hope it's not too long before you get your first egg!
Raina
Well...erm....Nuna (Full Border) likes them, Holly (Border Collie)was/is more interested in the Eglu and the Boys (Border Terrier X something naughty & a Bedlington Terrier)...They have tried everything to get to them instead of taking them a walk twice a day we are now going to take them 4 - 5 times a day so they don't need to get out into the back garden. Oh and thanks, and yep LL is the older one
Margalot
We had real trouble with our Parson Russell Terrier, she really wanted to chase them etc, but have now calmed her down a bit by using Pet Corrector spray, It blasts a jet of compressed air over her head along with me barking" LEAVE IT!" She now fears the chickens and we normally only have to shout the LEAVE IT bit! She just loves the smells though and will stand and look up at the nest box And snack on the poo she snaffles from their run
Raina
Eww lol We did try him again earlier and used the hose every time he went too close to the eglu. He stopped after a couple of squirts I'm dreading it when the Dogs find chicken poop, cuz they will just roll in it
