Space Chick
I've had my first 3 eggs, but don't know who was responsible. (also don't know if 2 girls are laying - see my Egg post) I'm at home today and so have been watching them. Both Rose and Sarah-Jane have ventured into to but when they have come out, and I've investigated - no egg! They are doing it on purpose, I'm convinced! I defo think that Martha was has come into lay though. I found a softie buried in the auboise this morning, and both yesterday and today Martha hasn't seemed herself, and I know laying a softie can make them feel poorly. I have to go out in a bit to pick up my new car, and I bet they'll decide to lay whilst I'm out!
Space Chick
Martha has just laid a lovely 61g egg, and has started to seem more herself! Yey! Rose has now gone into the nesting box, is she going to lay aswell, could she be the chook responsible for the speckled egg... This is just too exciting! [quote= Sounds like you need a chickencam. My hubby has started looking into them! Problem would be I'd never get any work done in the office, I'd be watching my girls
tidygirlsuk
I'm finding this very interesting as i have an amber star who hasn't started laying yet. I wondered what her eggs would like. I think chickens like sitting in a nest box for fun sometimes.
