victoriabunny Posted May 2, 2009 Share Posted May 2, 2009 Just been to my local Tesco - wanted to buy free-range chicken, but the shelf where it usually is was full of the standard battery stuff. I found a few Finest free-range whole birds, but I wanted thighs - they normally do them both as free-range and organic. I asked where they were and was told they won't be stocking them now as they need more space for their summer BBQ meat range. So unless you want to buy a whole bird you can now only buy battery chicken at my local branch. Mrs Webmuppet Posted May 2, 2009 Share Posted May 2, 2009 I went to my local Tesco's yesterday and the free-range and organic chicken section had very little on it, I assumed that they just hadn't had a delivery (there's never anyone to ask).
