Does anybody know the cheapest supplier of stalosan please?

And any advice as to how much I need to sprinkle per square metre of run?

I am thinking I will have to order it online, but am based near Stratford upon avon shoould anyone know of a supplier near there.

Hoping someone has got some ideas on this.

It says on the side of the carton how much to use I think its a handful a square metre for the floor and one or two chucked on the bedding midclean or before introductions. It's a lot for postage but I googled a supplier nearby and made arangements to collect it.

I think I got mine from Alphahatch which was cheapest at the time. I'm not very scientific when I use it - I just sprinkle it liberally all over the ground .

I used to get mine from Regency Poultry Maddie, only they seem to have stopped doing it lately. But Jude at Cotswold Chickens (nr Banbury, so not far from you) sells Bio Dri, which is the same stuff. I've found it to be just as good.

 

Call her first to check stock levels as it sells quickly.

I intend to devote some time to it at the weekend and follow up the suppliers you've suggested.

I feel that after nearly a year without any treatment its about time I 'deodorised' their run!

Glad to hear they've got it back in now. I think they were running their stocks down prior to the merger. I use it in the housing, and also when I rake out the run, to kill off any nasties in the soil.
