Ain't Nobody Here
Just received my tomato greenhouse and plan to plant out my tomato plants soon. Hadn't given any thought, till I put it together, as to how I'm going to support the plants . What is the best (and easiest ) method? Cinnamon
I use canes & string, but this year have also used those smart little rap-straps which were on Dragons Dens,& they are very successful
Lesley
I used those metal frames that fit under a growbag. They cross at the top and hold a cane firmly in the middle. These....... http://www.gardenxtras.com/catalogue.asp?catcode=
Ain't Nobody Here
Thanks, guys . Those supports look good, Lesley - I might just invest in some of them. We get strong winds, even in summer so I need something sturdy .
Olly
Amateur Gardening magazine has just reviewed those and given them a good mark.
bluekarin
I bough some arched bamboo from Poundland (£1 for 3) and have put one over each plant and then have tied a straight piece of bamboo across the stop to make it more stable. It looks quite nice, if I do say so myself
