Cooks Posted May 14, 2009 Share Posted May 14, 2009 Not only do I regularly give my chicken poop away to allotment owners, I today have 'won' the Leith's Cookery Bible and the man cycled it round to me! Cinnamon Posted May 14, 2009 Share Posted May 14, 2009 A chap came to mine to collect some old window frames hubby had,to make into cold frames, & bought me some lettuces from his garden today I love the friendliness of it all We never have any trouble getting shot of the aubiose that come out of the pen every few months.2 x 1 ton builders bags went this time, & people were desperate for it! I have one nice bloke who gives me wood for the stove. Mind you, I am still waiting for something to be collected - have emailed her to give her until tomorrow lunchtime to confirm that she still wants it.
