Not only do I regularly give my chicken poop away to allotment owners, I today have 'won' the Leith's Cookery Bible and the man cycled it round to me! I gave him 6 eggs! the least I can do, I did say I could collect but by all accounts he gets around on this bike

A chap came to mine to collect some old window frames hubby had,to make into cold frames, & bought me some lettuces from his garden today

 

I love the friendliness of it all

 

We never have any trouble getting shot of the aubiose that come out of the pen every few months.2 x 1 ton builders bags went this time, & people were desperate for it!

I generally find the people friendly and have made some new acquaintances through it. I have one nice bloke who gives me wood for the stove.

 

Mind you, I am still waiting for something to be collected - have emailed her to give her until tomorrow lunchtime to confirm that she still wants it. That's what hacks me off - people who post then immediately go offline for days on end.
